Talent Vs Money (Dilemma in Music)

Have you ever seen some singer getting famous from nowhere ?

Can we say that you need money to become a good singer ?

Why there is glass ceiling for the talented singers who cant afford to finance their music songs ?

Sometimes horrible questions like above strike the mind which leads to discouragement. Unfortunately, there are many examples in my country where money has overcome talent as far as music is concerned.

A poor man whose voice is worth listening and needs the exposure of studio recording is often ignored by so called music kings here in Pakistan, they wont promote you until you show the heat of your wallet to them, talent means nothing to them but money does. Should we really think that talent has no importance ?

We are not living in the era of Jimi Hendrix and Elvis Presley where there was the importance of talent and hardwork. But still some of today’s musicians who cant afford to reach the place where they deserve are doing much hardwork by promoting their music on social sites and are getting less but positive appreciation.

Music lovers need good and creative music which doesn’t mean that studio effects are necessary. If you have talent, an acoustic is enough for you to get good and positive appreciation.

Hidden music talent should really be promoted and that can be done by media and professional musicians by doing talent hunt and give them exposure so that they can get benefits from their talent.
